1) Camp Half-blood is a camp for kids with mortal and Roman gods as prents. There the kids are protected by a magical boundary. The people that go there are kids who have parents that are mortals and Roman god parents. They go there to be safe from the monsters that want to kill them.
2) They are after Percy because he is a son of on of the Big Three {who promised not to have kids} so he has a strong aura that attracts the monsters.
3) His father is Poseidon, God of the Sea.
4) Percy and Grover go to the Underworld because the think that Hades stole Zeus's lightning bolt.
I loved this book! I want to read the second one but I have to finish the Caudills first.
1) "Camp Half-Blood" is a camp for half-bloods, someone who has parents of different speices. Mainly, for this camp, someone who has a human parent, but also a parent that is a Greek God. The reason they have to go there is because the camp is protected by a boundary and a special tree, which use to be the daughter of Zues, from evil monsters, usually sent by Hades, one of the three most powerful Gods/Zues's brother. The children that go there also learn self-deffense, such as swordsmanship (taught by a counciler named Luke), to help protect themselves from monsters that want to kill them. They also go there to be by other half-bloods, so they fit in.
2) The Minotaur and other mythical creatures are after Percy because he is the son of one of the three most powerful gods (The Big Three), who made a promise not to have any more children because they would be too powerful.
3) Percy Jackson's father is one of "The Big Three", Poseidon, who is the God of the Sea.
4) Percy, Grover, and Annabeth voyaged to the underworld because they were on a mission to find Zues's stolen lightning bolt. Percy also went to retrieve his mother.
I really injoyed this book, so I have now taken up Greek Mythology and would really injoy readin the next books of the series.
