3. Why is it so important and difficult to get hold of Michael's birth certificate?

1) Micheal's dad died in May.
2) The secret that Micheal and Carlos are keeping is that Carlos is to young to be taking care of a kid like Micheal so they are saying that their dad is in Florida taking care of the sick (not real) uncle.
3) It is important they get hold of his birth certificate because Micheal is the star pitcher on his baseball team the Clippers and they are starting play-offs. But some of the other coaches think he is lying about his age because he didnt register with his certifercate. It is difficult because their dad is dead and they do not know who to contact.

Some of the coaches and other players from other teams are also accusing him of not being the age he supposedly is saying that he is because he is a really good player, too good. it is so difficult for him to locate the certificate of birth because their dad is dead and they are not aware of any relatives who would have it and doesn't help that they are originally from a different country.
