1) Julia and Patrick decide to do a project on silkworms. They are raising silkworms and then embroidering a picture.

2) Julia tries to sabotage the project because she thinks the project is too Korean. To sabotage the project she says she doesnt have the money for the eggs and she gots glad when they cant find a mullberry tree.

3) I think the conversation between Julia and Mrs. Park is very interesting because you learn stuff that you would not know form reading the book

1) Julia and Patrick get an idea from Julia's mom for their Wiggle Club project, raising silkworms. They raised them from the time they were eggs to caterpillars to cocoons to moths. 5 of the caterpillars in their cocoons were sacrificed to make silk thread for an embroidered picture of the life stages of silkworms.

2) Julia tries to sabotage the silkworm project because she feels the project is too Korean and she says that she wants to do a true American project. To try to get out of the project, she says that she only has 12 of the $22, even though she knows her mom can loan her the extra $10. After a day or so she feels guilty and tells Patrick that she can get it from her mom. She then tries to avoid the project by not trying to find a person with the only mulberry tree in the city.

3) I personally found the conversations between the author, Mrs. Park, and Julia interesting because you learn part of how the author comes up with ideas for the story and names. I didn't understand what the story inside meant at first, but after the second time of the second story, I understood what was happening.

1) The Wiggle Club project that Julia and Patrick decided to work on for the state fair was raising silkworms and using some of the silk to embroider a picture.

2) Julia tries to sabotage the project by saying she doesn't have enough money, even though she know that her mom can loan her 10 dollars of the 22. She also uses every possible excuse to prevent them from being allowed to collect mulberry tree leaves. She does the is because she wants to do a project that is more American.

3) I found that the discussion between the author and Julia between chapters interesting because you learn how Ms. Park came up with the ideas for the book.
